This is my tribute / fan art for Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red. The character is based on concept art of an earlier version of Sebastian "Padre" Ibarra by Marek Brzezinski.

With this project I tried to push myself and get more practice with real-time characters. I wanted to do a character that had a bit of everything; anatomy, clothing, hair and hard surface. I updated my workflow and learned a ton. It was my first time with XGen and XGen haircards, so I can improve more on that.
-
The character has 75k triangles in total, 21.5k triangles of those 75k belong to the hair.
-
There are 8 texture sets: [1] Eyes, [2] Head and Arms, [3] Upperbody, [4] Lowerbody, [5] Props, [6] Transparent Objects, [7] Haircap, [8] Haircards. Most of them are rendered in 4K, some are lower.
-
The anatomy is created completely in ZBrush from scratch, details sculpted by hand.
The blouse, denim jeans, belt and holster were created in Marvelous Designer, details done in ZBrush.
The boots were done completely in ZBrush.
Many props started in Maya and finished in ZBrush.
Haircap for the scalp eyebrows and beard was created with Maya's XGen and baked in Marmoset.
Additional haircards were created with Maya's XGen and baked with Arnold.
UV Unwrapping was done in RizomUV.
Texturing and the majority of the baking was done in Substance Painter.
Tattoos were mostly photo-bashed and-or traced and turned into alphas in Photoshop. Some of tattoo designs are originally from Bayu Dwi Cahyono ( www.behance.net/bayudwi1 ).
Everything was rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 4.

Right Arm Detail - The tattoos are photo-bashed and/or traced from the original concept art. The skeleton lady with flowers is an edited version of an illustration by Bayu Dwi Cahyono ( www.behance.net/bayudwi1 ).

Left Arm Detail - The tattoos are photo-bashed and/or traced from the original concept art. The skeleton lady and the angel figure are edited versions of illustrations by Bayu Dwi Cahyono ( www.behance.net/bayudwi1 ).
